If I Had Known You

If I had known you
I would have held you
If I could hold you
I would tell you

You’re the best thing to happen lately here

And I know we deserve these tears

But in a better world they would understand

So sleep now and dream

It’s not the end
This is not surrender
I’m fighting for a friend
And hoping you remember
I will never run
I can be your wings
So sleep now and dream

If you are lonely
If you’re alone
Then you can call me
I’ll bring you home

Because you’re the best thing to happen lately here

And I know we can’t change the years

But in a better world everything would all make sense

So sleep now and dream

What have we done?
Where did we go?
If I should vanish
This you should know
Something I’ve saved here
Something we shared
Things that are sacred
Know that Im there

If I had known you
I would have held you
If I could hold you
Then I would tell you

You are the best thing to happen here
You are the best thing to come around…

  1. True to you
    I am still
    True to you
    I will stay
    True to you
    Even away I’m
    True to you
    Always will I be
    True to you
    I want to keep
    True to you
    I’m glad I am
    True to you
    My heart loves to be
    True to you

  2. I once thought about starting a profession in photo archival but then stumbled into healing instead….I love diving into archives of the past…they remind us of sweet memories and things to learn from. 🙂

    • Indeed they do. Healing? A profession that truly is needed. Healers are hard to find, in more than one sense of the word. I am very thankful you are diligent enough to delve back into this blog’s short past. I didn’t have many people seeing a lot of these posts…as a matter of fact I am still amazed at the amount of views and comments I get. I really didn’t think anyone would see it. It is very humbling. Thank you!
