Suspended mid-ascent
Photic threads about her sylphlike form
Gossamer, such faint restraints
Casting glows on weathered paint
From interwoven skin and ink
Lips brushed almost red
More like blood and wine entangled
Lushly driven floral spangles
Stolen ministry of angles
Spoken softly like a stranger
Under charcoal cloak
Her corona piercing flesh to soul
Driven nimbly through my being
Studded figment I am seeing
Shapely alabaster dreaming
Pale by moonlit paint
Transcendental vapor drawn in shape
Floating weightless in this forest
Through a chime of ancient chorus
Called and drawn from air before us
I especially love this poem. It quickens the beat of my heart and warms my soul. Thank you for posting.
Well thank you Muse! I hope your soul stays warm and you have a wonderful Halloween!
Well thank you. I hope you have had quite an amazing day.
My soul is sure to stay warm if you keep posting. 🙂
By the way, I really love this pic.
Thank you very much! I have a difficult time choosing images for my poems sometimes. The visual and literary world are closely knit but still very different. Sometimes I almost feel like adding images to words is distracting, but it can also be very enhancing. I try to keep mine ambiguous enough that you can think anything you want of them and not always know exactly what they are meant to be 🙂
This is really neat
It makes me want to incision the rest like a dream yet unfinished… I like the word pictures 🙂
Thank you very much! I hope you incision it well! 🙂

I simply love your work, the photo’s and the words 🙂 Awesome!!
So kind of you to stop by! I appreciate it. I try to make sure it is always directly from me. You will find nothing generic on my blog. No google images here 🙂 only the odd and unusual distortions from my imagination!
You really know how to take me into the moment.
xx
Aw, you are very kind, Debbie. I appreciate your encouragement! You have to record these events…it’s not every day people see ghosts in the woods 😉
Nice work! 🙂
I think that the canvas for any artistry is delicate, but as each stroke of the word a sentence is formed, and as each paragraph grows with intensity, so does the painting of phrases develop and transform the blank canvas into a masterpiece of the written word, rather like a jigsaw being completed or an etching of pure excellence. Your style of writing conjures the imaginations of your reader base and adds to the enchantment of the whole setting my friend 🙂
Do have a most excellent rest
of weekend Vampire Weather 🙂

I agree with you, Andro. Thank you so much for the encouragement
